DL-Malic Acid FSSC22000

We obtained FSSC 22000 certification for the international food safety management system for the production of DL-Malic Acid at the Osaka Factory in March 2018, at Kashima Plant in April 2021. The auditing company is SGS Ltd. and the certification body is UKAS Management System.
FSSC22000 has been approved as a benchmark standard by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Institute), which is comprised of the world’s leading food manufacturing, distribution and retail companies. And, it is an international certification on food safety, reinforced with additional requirements based on ISO22000.
Our DL-Malic Acid is widely used by food manufacturers both in Japan and overseas as the only manufacturer in Japan, but the acquisition of this certification has been particularly desired by overseas customers.
Therefore, acquiring certification not only reduces the risk of food (additives) safety, improves corporate value and promotes compliance, but also greatly enhances the reliability of overseas companies.
Going forward, we will continue to maintain our certification by continuously improving our management system and strive to meet even higher standards for food safety.
